 | 'The Council for Education in World Citizenship N.Ireland (CEWC NI), an educational charity, offers support for local and global citizenship education in schools. Through its Active Citizenship Programme, CEWC NI aims to provide opportunities for pupils to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to participate effectively in society, at both local and global level.
Membership of CEWC NI is open to all post primary schools and its projects are organised for pupils of Key Stages 3 & 4 and Years 13 & 14. The CEWC NI Active Citizenship Programme offers an exciting and fun way for pupils to learn about empathy and understanding through participation in inter-school, cross-community conferences, workshops and youth parliaments.
