Junior Conferences, looking at the interdependence of the
developed and the developing worlds.
These inter-school, cross-community conferences are organised for 100 pupils and the emphasis is on group work, each group made up of pupils from different schools. The half-day conferences involve pupils in discussion and decision-making.
The pupils are introduced to the topic of human rights with particular reference to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
