We are now in a position to give some more details with regard to the venue, the time for the First Sitting of the Senior N.Ireland D&AYF and its methodology.
Time: Tuesday, 23rd November 04 Venue: Friends' School, Lisburn (9:30-3pm) Please ask your pupils to bring a packed lunch. This is a NON-UNIFORM event. In terms of preparation for the First Sitting please ask your students to familiarise themselves with the drugs and alcohol content of the CEWCNI website (www.cewcni.org.uk). There will be a briefing afternoon for the Students Committee comprising two/three students from each school a week before the First Event (Monday 8th November for Belfast schools and Monday 15th for Lisburn schools). The briefings will take place after school. Those students will then pass on the necessary information to the rest of your delegates. You will be notified about this meeting in due course. Please see the methodological approach & agenda in relation to the First Sitting. For the first and second Sitting 10 secondary schools across BELB and SEELB have been chosen. Please see the names of your partner schools. Please let us know whether any disabled pupils will be coming to the event. We would like to take necessary steps in order to accommodate those students. I hope that the Senior N.Ireland D&AYF in this academic year will be an enriching and enjoyable project for you and your students.
