The Character of the presentation: ROUND TABLE
These are designed to encourage debate and discussion between a panel of speakers and the audience. The roundtable addresses a question (eg 'Does drug treatment contribute to harm reduction?) (this will be printed in the programme). Each speaker initially has 7 minutes to present their views, and confines their initial argument to a few key points. The facilitator encourages debate amongst the speakers and the audience. To best utilise this time, select the most important parts (2 or 3 points) of your paper and concentrate on delivering them in a brief yet concise manner. Prepare for possible questions from the audience.
