Motions for Debate in Third Sitting

Dear all,

All Motions have now either been opted for or assigned to each of the fourteen schools involved.

Most of you will have had confirmation of the Motion your are proposing or opposing. For those who were unable to choose a Motion from last Wednesday, CEWC have now assigned all remaining motions in the interest of time and preparation and will be in contact with you all shortly.

Note, it is now your responsibility as a School, to develop your comments and arguements for or against a specific motion so that your time in the Council Chamber will be as effective as possible. Remember, there is scope for you to make brief additional comments concerning the other Motions, as indicated in the Debating Procedures information available online. Therefore, don't just prepare for your own Motion, please engage in all 7 Motions where possible. A presentation Cup for the 'best' presented school during the Council Chamber debate will be awarded by the Lord Mayor.
