1. Investigate the effects on the body of legal and illegal substances and the risks and the consequences of their misuse
2. Greater understanding of the negative effects of illicit drugs & alcohol
3. Increased knowledge of Human Rights - Legislation and its relevance to the lives of the pupils
4. Investigate the influence on a young person of peer pressure, media, social and cultural trends
5. Development of Skills:
